Norms of Discipline

School expects of every student to contribute towards the discipline of the school.
1. No one should be late for school.
2. Students should come to school in clean, neat and proper uniform, no fancy or costly ornaments should be worn.
3. Every student must carry their identity card to school every day.
4. It is vitally important that changes in residence and telephone numbers be communicated immediately when they occur.
5. Students must speak English even in their private conversa tion at the school.
6. It is the duty of all the students to keep their classrooms and other places in and around the school, clean and orderly, They need to learn to use dustbin.
7. Care must be exercised for all property and no students should scratch desks or any other furniture or walls. Things belonging to others should not be damaged. Damages done even by accidents should be reported at once to the class teacher or Principal. Any damage done will be made good by the one who causes it. Anyone who sees something dam aged should report the matter even if he/she does not know who has done it.
8. The school is not responsible for goods or money lost. It is advisable not to bring valuable articles to school.
9. The school reserves to itself the right to dismiss students whose diligence or progress in studies and behaviour is unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students or whose guardians show little interest in the progress of their children. Immorality, grave insubordination, contempt of authority or will ful damage to school property is always a sufficient reason for immediately dismissal.
10. Order must be maintained in cleanliness and appearance of all parts of the school.
11. During recess, pupils are expected to leave the class room and go to the school ground. No students may leave their class in between teaching periods.
12. Students are not allowed to bring novels, newspapers, peri- odicals, comics, mobile phones, transistors or any items which may be considered objectionable to school.
13. Running and shouting on the school premises is forbidden.
14. No pupil shall leave the school premises during the school hours without the written application from their parents counter signed by the principal. Parents or someone respon sible should accompany him/her if he/she is late to school or he/she wants to leave the school during school hours.
15. No collection for any purpose, whatever may be, made in the school without the permission of the Principal.
16. Students shall not offer or entertain teachers without permis sion of the principal.
17. The school will take all possible care and precaution to safe guard children when they are in the school campus. How ever, it will not be held responsible for any mishap during their stay in the school.
18. The students, who wish to get their photographs attested by the school, must be photographed in their school uniform.
19. Leave of absence is not granted without prior writer permis sion from parent/guardian except in cases of unforeseen circumstances and only for serious reasons.
20. No one who is late or has been absent on the previous day will be admitted to the class without producing a leave application duly signed by the Parent/Guardian.
21. Repeated absence from school for more than ten consecutive days without leave or unexplained absence renders the students liable to have his/her name struck off the roll Re- admission, if granted will be done on payment of Rs.1000-
22. All are expected to attend class on school opening day after vacations. Those absent without leave will be fined at the rate of Rs.10/- per day.
23. Students are not allowed to enter classrooms other than their own.
24. No students are allowed to write on blackboards unless asked to do so by the teacher.
25. Special care must be taken by teaches and pupils to main tain an atmosphere of silence and serious work during class hours.
26. A student returning to school after suffering from an infec tious or contagious disease should produce a medical certifi cate permitting him/her to rejoin class. The prescribed pe riod of quarantine is:
